You are invited to join us for Holy Eucharist (communion)
Sunday mornings at 8 and 10 a.m.
Children ages 3 through 18 are invited to come to
Sunday School in the Apple House at 10 a.m.
Our church is part of the Episcopal Diocese in Central
Indiana and the Episcopal Church in the United States.
Baptized Christians of all denominations are welcome
to receive communion at St. Augustine.
You are invited to come to church on Saturday, March 3 at 5:30 p.m. for our Healing Service. The service includes healing of mind, body, and spirit through laying on of hands, prayers, and annointing with holy oil. Holy Eucharist will also be celebrated at this peaceful service.
Stations of the Cross
Fr. Bill leads a service of the Stations of the Cross every Friday during Lent. The service, which starts at 7 p.m., is a meditation on fourteen incidents depicting the walk of Jesus Christ to his death on the cross. Everyone is invited to attend this time of devotion and personal reflection.
NOOMA Video Discussion Series
On Mondays and Tuesdays during Lent, Fr. Bill will lead a discussion series called "Finding Christ in the World Today" using the NOOMA video series. NOOMA videos promote spiritual reflections on individual life experiences and are a starting point for each evening's discussion. The videos are independent of each other, so please feel welcome to attend when you can. The sessions take place at 6:30 p.m. in the undercroft.
Our children will take part in the 10 a.m. service on Sunday, March 11. All children will meet in the sanctuary that morning.
Chili Lunch Fundraiser and Birthday Celebration
Our Youth Group Chili Lunch fundraiser will be Sunday, March 11, during Coffee Hour. The group will be serving chili, hot dogs, chips, veggies, and dessert for a free-will offering to our Waycross Campership Fund. The fund pays for church youth with perfect Sunday School attendance to spend a week at camp. We will also celebrate Fr. Bill's birthday with a money tree and birthday cake. Don't miss this fun event!
Palm Sunday, Holy Week, and Easter Services
Holy Week begins March 25 with Palm Sunday. We will celebrate Holy Eucharist at both services that morning. We will have a Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. on March 29. On Good Friday, March 30, we will have a service of the Stations of the Cross at 3 p.m. and an evening Good Friday service at 7 p.m. The Great Vigil of Easter will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 31. We will celebrate the good news of Easter at one 9 a.m. service Sunday, April 1. Children are invited to come to the Apple House at 9 a.m. for special activities, and we will have our big egg hunt after the Easter service.
